For maternity photoshoots, you can book me right after your first trimester. You can book your newborn shoot at the same time! For regular family photos, please schedule your session at least 2 months in advance to create your ideal experience. Pstttt I also offer packages from baby announcement to newborn you should check out!
Truly fun! A mix of documentary and traditional, my style is perfect for the playful movement of young families. I look for natural expressions that create warm, emotive, and happy feelings!
Oooo, now we’re getting to the fun stuff! I recommend wearing rich, warm tones and neutral colour pallets. Layers add interest but it looks best if only one outfit has a pattern. Don’t get too matchy-matchy. Think about coordinating nice, everyday outfits rather than getting too fancy!
I’ll always be there to guide you on what will work for the camera. While I’m snapping, I encourage you to be completely natural in your movement as I focus on your family’s interactions. Don’t worry! Grandma will also get a couple of the more traditionally posed images to hang on the fridge :)
My longer-than-average session length gives plenty of time for children to open up and become more relaxed and true-to-character! We’ll have plenty of time to capture life as-is, in all its reality. Between mini tantrums and moments of not listening, we’ll be able to also experience so much laughter and enjoyment. I know all the tricks for easing tension and finding that full range of emotion during a comfortable, lengthy session for your family.
I’m an all-inclusive photographer, which means there’s never a limit on the number of photos you’ll get. You’ll likely have at least 100 images to pour over and pick out family favourites!
